Developing Role as a Case Officer in Export Control Matters for the Army
We offer a developing role as a case officer in export control matters for the Army where you will gain a broad insight into the work at the Army Staff and material procurement in the Swedish Armed Forces!

Recruiting Unit
The Armament Department is responsible for planning and leading the supply of material and systems used on the ground for the entire Armed Forces. The Armed Forces are in a phase of growth. The supply and turnover of material and systems mean that the section is in need of growth.
The department supports commanders and units in creating conditions for the material to be available, system-worthy, and safe, both within and outside the country's borders.
About the Position
The development aims to find ways to set requirements and assist in implementing export control in the Army's processes. You will have a central role in ensuring compliance with export control throughout the lifecycle of the material.
Training in the field will be offered.
Main Responsibilities:
- Handle cases related to export control, including assessment of material and technical documentation.
- Ensure that the operation complies with relevant laws, international agreements, and internal regulations. Identify, analyze, and propose alternatives for better compliance.
- Collaborate with internal functions and external authorities in the field of export control, as well as provide advice and support to the operation on matters concerning export control, permits, and compliance.
- Participate in the development and improvement of routines and processes within export control.
- Prepare training materials and conduct training in the field.
Qualifications
- University or college education in engineering, law, political science, or equivalent, or competence acquired in another way that the employer assesses as equivalent
- Experience in export control operations
- Experience in administrative work
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English
- Driving license B

Meritorious
- Experience in classification within military material and dual-use products, experience in military material processes
- Knowledge of relevant regulations such as ITAR, EAR, or other international export control legislation
- Certified Export Control Manager through the Swedish Export Control Association
- Knowledge of the Armed Forces' IT systems, PRIO, VIDAR, SWECCIS, ISUS
- Completed military basic training or alternative conscription
- Experience in process development and/or development of normative governance
Other
Employment form: The employment begins with a six-month probationary period for those not currently employed in the Armed Forces.
